BODET Harmonys Multisite integration for Genetec Security Center

BODET Harmonys Multisite logo

The ADDONXPERT BODET PPMS plugin brings BODET's Harmonys Multisite software into Genetec Security Center. Safety plans - a PPMS (Plan Particulier de Mise en Sûreté), POMSE, PSE and the like - are what schools, universities, healthcare facilities, public buildings and sensitive sites rely on to protect people when a major event occurs. With this plugin, your operators pilot the whole plan from the single interface they already use every day - alongside their cameras, doors and access control - over the Harmonys Multisite API and the SNMP trap (MIB) protocol.

    • Configurable security alerts (PPMS, POMSE, PSE, etc.): Harmonys does not impose a fixed set - each establishment defines its own list of up to 10 security alerts (for example lockdown, evacuation, intrusion, attack, major or chemical risk, end of alert). The plugin carries every one of them into Security Center.

    • Two-way communication: alerts raised on site are received as Security Center custom events, and an operator can trigger any security alert remotely from Security Desk towards the Harmonys Multisite software.

    • Button-box identification (SNMP trap / MIB): each physical box is identified by its name, IP address and site, so your team knows exactly which box was activated - not just the type of alert.

    • Centralized, correlated supervision: drive the whole safety plan from the single Security Center interface, alongside video and access control, with real-time monitoring and event-to-action automations.

    • Local or Federation deployment: a single Bodet site (ADX-BODET-BASE), or several sites consolidated on one central Security Center through a REST API over IIS (ADX-BODET-FEDERATION).

Overview

Technical diagram
Whether you secure a single establishment or an entire estate, BODET PPMS fits your topology - a single site in local mode, or several sites consolidated in federation mode:
Local mode - single site
BODET PPMS architecture - local mode: single-site Harmonys connection to Genetec Security Center
Federation mode - multi-site
BODET PPMS architecture - federation mode: multi-site management with site/token mappings over a REST API on IIS

Usage

Plugin configuration
Everything is configured from Config Tool, in the plugin's own tabs:

  • Connection to the Harmonys Multisite API - URL, token, heartbeat and alert-state polling
  • Button boxes - each box declared as a native Genetec custom entity (name, IP address, Bodet site) and placeable on maps
  • Federation mode - REST and IIS HTTPS ports and site/token mappings (with the ADX-BODET-FEDERATION license)
  • Built-in diagnostics - connection, Bodet license and HTTPS certificate state, checked automatically

Operational use
However the alerts are configured, the operator experience stays unified in the Security Desk consoles your teams already know:

  • Receive security alerts as Security Center custom events, ready for event-to-action automations
  • Trigger any security alert remotely - right-click the Bodet site in Security Desk
  • Identify the triggering button box instantly from its SNMP trap (name, IP, site)
  • Monitor the site, its boxes and their events live, with a tile for each box in alert
  • Handle active alarms - acknowledge, forward to another operator, snooze or investigate
  • See every active alarm geolocated automatically on the map

Frequently Asked Questions

Overview

What is the BODET PPMS plugin for Genetec Security Center?

The BODET PPMS plugin integrates BODET's Harmonys Multisite software into Genetec Security Center. It offers two-way communication for managing security alerts, identifying the activated button boxes and controlling incidents in real time - from a single Security Center interface.

What safety plans does the plugin cover and who is it for?

The plugin covers French establishment safety plans - the PPMS (Plan Particulier de Mise en Sûreté), POMSE, PSE and the like - used by establishments facing a major risk or intrusion. It is designed for schools, universities, healthcare facilities, public buildings and sensitive sites.

Features

How do Harmonys alerts appear in Security Center?

Alerts raised by the BODET Harmonys Multisite software are received by the plugin over the Harmonys Multisite API and shown in Security Center as custom events, usable in Security Desk and in event-to-action automations.

Can I trigger an alert from Security Center to Harmonys?

Yes. The integration is two-way: an operator can trigger an alert from Security Center towards the BODET Harmonys Multisite software, and the plugin also receives the alerts coming from Harmonys.

How is the triggering button box identified?

The activated button box is identified via the SNMP trap (MIB) protocol it emits to the plugin. Each box is a Genetec custom entity with a name, a unique IP address and an associated Bodet site.

What is federation mode and when should I use it?

Federation mode manages several Bodet sites with site/token mappings and exposes a REST API over IIS. Use it for multi-site deployments. It requires the ADX-BODET-FEDERATION licence (and IIS on the server).

Compatibility & requirements

Which Genetec Security Center versions are supported?

Genetec Security Center 5.12, 5.13 and 5.14.

Is the plugin compatible with Security Center SaaS?

No. The plugin requires an on-premise Security Center deployment because it installs as a native Genetec server-side role. Security Center SaaS is not supported at this time.

What are the server prerequisites?

The plugin installs as a native Genetec server-side role on a Security Center Professional or Enterprise system; federation mode additionally requires IIS. Detailed hardware sizing is provided with the deployment documentation.

Which languages are available?

French and English.

Licenses

What licenses are required?

ADX-BODET-BASE (base plugin licence) + optionally ADX-BODET-FEDERATION (federation/multi-site) + one mandatory annual maintenance licence (SMA) + one Genetec SDK connection (GSC-1SDK-ADDONXPERT-BODETPPMS) per Security Center server.
